Well it was funny for like 24 hrs
Yeh so basically I came home Thursday and my brother says "the internet isn't working" my instant thought was 'ok he's pushed us over the fair usage limit and they've cut us off', then some random BT enginer comes to tell us that actually no, our phoneline has been killed in a storm.
Oh and he can't fix it 'till we log it.
Mum eventually called them from my neighbours at which point we're told that they'll be out tomorrow...this still with the guys up the road and after a lenghty process in which the chap at the other end of the line failed to understand that our phone line is not connected + actually dangling down on one of the outside walls.
Friday came and they did not turn up, father went to phone them from a payphone this time and he was told that due to the storm they might not turn up until today, at which point he explained about us needed to be contactable just incase Grandpa takes a dramatic turn for the worst and they re-routed all our calls so that they ended out with Dad's mobile.
As a wonderful end to the joys of the BT helpline upon being asked if this would mean anyone phoning our home phone would then get charged a mobile rate my father gained the response of "I don't know"
To give them their dues they did turn up yesterday and didn't even have to come into the house to fix the line but geeze don't they need to do something with their helplines!!!
(appology for no cut but apparently it doesn't want to behave today so...)
Anyway I'm now a full 2 days behind the Ito b-day pic binge so have Sunday's which was on a theme of "devoted":
Yesterday's which is on a theme of Lazy:
and today's which is simply 'overdramatic':
as a reminder these are DigiKen personality trates, though some are certainly claimable as far as his RL counterpart is concerned!!
Oh and I'm now a brunette...pictures to come!!
