The pat on the back is because I've finally finished work on my tiny SC Genisis doji, aptly titled Genisis!!
Here's the finished product for those curious
. I did concider creating an OTP pose shot for the cover but eventually decided that doing as such would detract from the fact that the story is more about SC comming together than the OTP's relationship!! Also the purple SC scarecrow looks really cool and took all of two seconds to create!!
. My scanners uremitting quest to destroy anything/everthing pencil drawn was almost 100% responsible for my choice to not only border my basic scetches but to get rid of the white background everywhere other than in the panels.
. I love that first close up of Ken's face the most out of all his close ups! He looks like such a Bishoen!!
. There is something unexplainably sparky about the simple image of two shoulders resting against each other...I wonder if that's due to base animal nature or something...
. Of course it wouldn't be something by me without Ken being a narsisitic dork!!
. Also in well established Otaku cannon is Ken getting all flustered by simple, simple, compliments from Rin!!
. Wow that's one smexy laughter face right there, Rin...maybe not the best idea with an already fired up Ito in your general vacinity!!
. Yep, that was basically pradictable!
. Ken's all "thanks for the food" while Rin's scrabbling for a distraction!!
. Pft that is such a "nani??" face on the Ito in pannel 3!!
. OMG, harsh, Rin, harsh!! Also that heart is entirly sparkly in the orginal scetch...just because!!
