[ Where ever you are walking this evening, you are defintely not alone. You can feel a stare on you that makes your skin crawl. It is just about when you are about to turn around and ask who's following you, when a black cat slinks into the light.

so long as his eyes aren't in danger of popping out of his skull, the cat purrs approvingly. ]

[This demon really has had enough of cats lately between the two his roommate adopted, and the fact that she has been possessing cats herself.

So yeah, it's no surprise that when he sees a cat actually being affectionate that he's going to mistake it for Nu, right? Because to be honest, that is the only way a cat is going to be affectionate to him. Any other cat is likely to be hissing because he's found that cats do not like him one bit.] At least you picked a decent cat this time.

[Because truly, black cats are far better than white ones, right?]

[ oh, of course. but only because sebastian finds the way their fur shines as you pet them to be above and beyond charming.

still, the cat keeps up his affectionate rubbing. something is off about this particular one, however, he can't quite place it in this skin. ]

[Yuber will bend down and pet the cat, since he has no reason to think this is someone besides Nu and she seemed to enjoy pettings.]

[A black kitty you say! Vash is going to crouch down right next to it.] Hey! You look like Rem's cat from home! [Vash's surface AU is easy enough - he's human with black hair.]

[ ... Rem-- that is a peculiar name. For humans, that is, he's never heard it. Oh well. The cat paws at his nose as though it's toy, though it seems to be making sure it doesn't scratch Vash. ]

[Vash chuckles in amusement and waggles a finger in the air to see if the cat wants to play.] Now, if my kitty-speak hasn't gotten too rusty, that tends to mean you're either bored or hungry.

[ What does Joshua do? Joshua gives it a gentle kick to get it away from him. ]

Who are you?

[ Oh yes, he can sense that darkness and corruption on Sebastian's Soul. ]

[ oh, that hurts. the cat topples over onto its side, and then it rolls onto his paws before sitting and just purring affectionately at him.

really, it's just a cat.

... well, right now. he might not have been a cat ten minutes ago. ]

[ Joshua watches it for a bit longer, then for some inexplicable reason, grins and giggles.

He crouches down, staring at the cat with the same grin. ]

You know, I've killed much cuter things than you before.

[Ikki just eyes the cat and shakes his leg to get it away. He doesn't kick it though.]

What are you after?

[Whatever that is. He can feel this cat isn't a normal one, or a good one for that matter.]

... and your soul, but toying with you will amuse him enough.

the cat continues to pur and rubs harder against Ikki's legs. it's almost as though it's teasing him as it does so. ]

[There's a long list of beings waiting for Ikki's soul, he's sure of that. The Gods, for one matter. And even if they defeated Hades and the Underworld was destroyed he isn't entirely convinced about that, so probably hell is waiting for his soul too. And his master. Oh, and the Black Saints. And Esmeralda, though she doesn't want it to harm it and in fact most probably would just send him back to live. Like every other time. Athena too could be considered to be wanting his soul. And the Phoenix Cloth too, that one has a pretty clear ownership over it.

Sebastian will have to sit and wait for a while for his turn.]

I don't like repeating myself. What do you want from me?

[He doesn't try to shake the cat away this time though. Normally he would have but he is waiting for an answer... And he assumes that with everyone being able to understand animals this one should be able to say it properly.]
