Love doesn't always mean happiness. Sometimes, love means worry, fear, jealousy, or even sadness. Some would argue that true love contains none of these things. They're idiots and not worth my time. Love does not haveto be reciprocated. Love does not have to be accepted. Love is the most selfless, and the most selfish, of all emotions. It's contradictory and yet complimentary. It's everything and it's nothing at all...
I was bored one day in my highschool years and decided to surf the internet. It was during this time I found a website with translations of various religious texts in several different languages. At the time, I was lost and hoping to discover anything that would save me. Anyone who knows me would all: "Soulpatch read something?!" ::Completly shocked:: But yeah... I read and read until I couldn't keep my eyes open. Then, I woke up the next day and read some more.
Upon reading them, I found certain themes would appear over and over. Not little coincidences, but entire doctrines would follow from one book to another. Now, it's true that most popular modern religions were founded in the Middle East, but still...
It was at this time, I began to wonder why religions are so combative with eachother. They're all inherently the same. Sure, the rituals are different and a few of the names change, but the fundamental belief systems stay the same.
Of course, I had to dig deeper; not to discover a source for the hatred, but to find someplace that would accept everyone and everything. That's when I found my chosen religion. Peaceful, kind, giving souls who believe in the acceptance of all belief systems.
doesn't really matter. Jsut thought maybe this link would help someone:
