DAWN OVER THE GRAND CANYON. THE U.S.A.
Millions years ago, the Colorado Plateau rested in the territory of modern America, in the state of Arizona, where the ancient river slowly flowed. Time passed, and as a result of the movements of the Earth's crust, the river changed the stream gradient and became a rapid, mighty, capable of destroying the various layers of rocks that met in its path. Gradually, soil erosion led to the development of the most famous and beautiful canyon in the world, attaining about 2 kilometers in depth. This canyon of the Grand Canyon National Park, lined with red-brown terraced "walls", forming bizarre images in some places, is one of the seven natural wonders of the world.
