...After numerous times, it almost becomes a broken record.

Funny. I don't think being repetitive worries me right now...

Yeah. But 5 months of this, and anyone will feel jaded by sorrow.

I'm sorry for your loss, but...that's part of life. Losses.

It's not really a loss. Just... a temporary farewell. We WILL get out of here and Fuu will be waiting for us. That helps dealing with it.

Indeed it does.

It didn't even let her say goodbye to us.

Life is like that. Often, we don't know when we'll go. It just happens with no warning.

This place just makes us see the worse of that without need. She shouldn't have gone through that. The moment she got sucked back... She didn't want to go.

None of us do. But to me, that ought to make us more appreciative for what we have. One day, we all will return to where we belong. But if we have time to worry about that, we ought to spend it enjoying our days together.

I guess so. When we're not being cursed outta our minds or being forced to deal with a friend getting dragged out of this place... uh... Maybe it's not as bad as it tries to be.

When compared to high crime rates, the corruption occurring in the government, thought control in mass media, highway accidents, cancer, and the chance anyone could die or disappear from our lives---you know what, this place isn't that different from home. Yet, people like Nii-san manage to get the most enjoyment out of life anyway.

There are no curses back home, Akiha. At least whatever happens out there in our own world is less obviously done on purpose and for someone else's amusement.

In your home, maybe. Curses on this grand a scale though, are not impossible back in my dimension. Less common, obviously. But under the right circumstances, it can happen.

This same kind of thing...? And are those produced by some crazy deities as well?

Somewhere along those lines.

That's... But still... not being imprisoned has to make a difference.
