A rapid sweep backwards also shows the labyrinthine path Umi's had to pass through to reach this far and what little she still has left to go. The image of the Clock is, in a word, breathtaking.]
---See that?? It's what everyone kept telling us about! Looks like the Clock system's connected to someplace in the Overground, but I'm pretty sure the whole City's kept going just through this! Though I don't know what fuels it... No kidding. Jeez. It looks damn complex.
But I'm gonna find out! [The camera turns to Umi. She's pretty unharmed and looking hopeful and determined. There's an ugly smear of blood on her brow she may not have noticed yet. Hers? Or from the monster that lies dead at her feet, which the camera barely conveys?] I'm gonna go see that barrier! Fuu, I wish you could have a closer look at this place. There's NO WAY I can work out the mechanism on my own. But at least I'll get you videos so you and Mokona can study them, like I promised!
I got a theory about it too... But this is great! I'm going back now! Hear that? I'm going back as soon as I'm done checking on this thing for us! [Umi beams into the camera one last time, then darkness.]
