Pricey Homes
I’ve found out very recently that real estate in Missouri is climbing in price again, at least here in the Northwest. When we moved out here, our neighbors had bought their house for only $50,000-ish and they ran it into the ground for ten years, then turned around and sold it - looking rundown with bad wiring and plumbing - for almost $160,000. This I know because our neighbors are those Keeping Up With The Jones types who brag about every damn thing they do. And I bought into it, and thought it was pricey until I found out what homes are going for in other parts. Scottsdale realtors, alone, are selling up to $3,995,000 and my step sister and her husband sold their Oceanside ranch-style ( yes, a tiny ranch ) for 630,000 - can you believe that? And I keep hearing that real estate will be rising even more, so I guess if you’re gonna buy, you better get cracking, lol.
