A New York Minute...
One of the things I have come to really hate about living in NYC is the fact that at any moment while walking down the street -- day or night (but mostly night) and no matter how busy it is -- you can always have the experience of a HUGE RAT crossing your path. It happened to me tonight as I was going to the grocery store, walking down Broadway and walking past the really fancy grocery store around the corner from my apartment. It scurried from under a fruit stand, across my path, and then under a parked car. Yay, New York!
