I hate plane rides. Time, however, was of the essence (more than I knew,) and I wouldn't even consider a boat.
Upsettingly, I couldn't afford to take my bike here. I feel a little empty without it...

It doesn't matter, now that I've arrived. It appears slightly more urgent matters will be taking precedence.
