Wow. I just watched the final episode of Battlestar Galactica for the first time. I eagerly watched the series up until the second half of the last series. Too many arcs; lack of faith in a plan (I think. It was a long time ago!). But oh! It's so perfect that I've just cried my way through an hour of TV.

Lee! Kara! Sam! Oh Kara, poor Kara, I cried extra hard when she said goodbye to Sam, and then when she was talking to Lee after Bill and Laura left in the raptor. And Sam, Sam the cylon who flew the fleet into the sun!

It's so sad that they gave up all their lovely technology. I keep thinking of all the things that could go wrong that their technology would help with.

I also sobbed when Bill and Laura flew off, were flying and then when Bill was sat talking to Laura's grave.

And holy shit, the implication the next cylons are being developed right now and god hasn't decided if he'd like for another cycle of uprising and destruction! With the montage of robots and All Along the Watchtower playing.

Hera is mitochondial Eve!

All Along the Watchtower gave the jump co-ordinates for (new) Earth! :D

I love and adore the way that all the visions came together; being-that-doesn't-like-to-be-called-god set the humans and cylons a path through the destruction, so that they could have a fresh start. The cylon activation music being Kara's music being the jump co-ordinates. The Opera house leading them through Galactica. Kara's return from the dead too. She had to be there to get the humans and cylons to (new) Earth. Head!Baltar and Head!Six - 'angelic' creatures; guides sent by a higher power. It seemed such a complete mess, and I couldn't see how it would come together, but it did! :D

Oh, I love BSG so much *hugs show*

The DNS for my website has been untangled, as have the various tumblrs. Nothing I can do about the broken reblog links, not that I know of anyway. The main thing is that it's starting to work. One less thing on the get shit done list to be done tomorrow. The main thing is to get my portfolio sorted for the presentation on Thursday. Really wish they'd given us clearer guidelines for this module because then I wouldn't be scrambling to get this portfolio together.
