How do you know if someone you are talking to, someone you have met or gotten to know, is a real and true friend? There are some sure signs that you know that people care for you as you do them...
You call each other. To see if they are okay if you haven't heard from them, just to chat or just cause you are bored...
You email each other for the same reasons...in todays age a lot of people email back and forth more than they talk but don't forget talking on the phone is the best next to...
You visit each other if at all possible.
You find a way to spend some girl or guy time together just cause it is a good thing to do...
You do not feel weird telling them I love you or hearing them say it cause you know they don't want to sleep with you...they just straight up love you and that my friend is GOOD!
You do not feel werid hugging your friends or recieving a hug from them for the same reasons as above...hugs between friends can mean so much, especially good friends (and family!)
You care enough to know that if someone seems a bit blue, you try to cheer them up or just listen to them if they need to get something off their chest...It means the world to people to know that there is someone there to listen and listen honestly and not judgingly....
You care what your friends opinions are, what their feelings are about different subjects, you know their favorite colors, places to eat, types of clothing, color of their eyes or favorite jewelry and don't judge them a bad person cause they think differently than you or look different...
You accept them as who and what they are...you see them as a person, a good person if they are your friend, a really good person if they are great friends of yours and you are proud that they are...
you let them know how much it means to you that you are friends as often as you can because it is important, in friendships like in any other relationship, for people to know you care for them....
Life is short...let someone you know that you love them and care for them today...tomorrow, maybe tonite, could be too late....
