Seohyun's never realized how cute Kyuhyun was before.
Sure, he's in Super Junior; it's taken for granted that he has to be attractive, but she's never noticed the way his smile lights up the room and the fact that his eyes are so very, very dark.
Kyuhyun is beautiful, with a voice that makes her shiver and brilliantly snarky wit that never fails to make her laugh. He’s quirky and charming and everything Seohyun’s never thought she was looking for.
So when Seohyun finds out she’s getting a love line with Kyuhyun in the SEOUL CF, she is so deliriously happy that she spins around in the SNSD dorm, humming It’s You.
Kyuhyun is kind and polite and doesn’t mind the fact she’s messed up the scene a hundred times over because she keeps stumbling at the sight of him. He talks to her in a soft tones and helps her down the steps and oh, Seohyun thinks she’s in love.
But when he shyly asks do you think you can introduce me to Sooyoung? Seohyun feels like she’s been slammed by a truck. Her chest tightens, like he’s reached in and squeezed her heart and won’t let go, but she forces a small smile and a quiet of course, Kyuhyun-sshi.
She sits in a dark corner as the CF wrap party starts in earnest. Donghae is bringing best moves on the dance floor, Taeyeon and Sunny giggling with fangirlish admiration. Siwon and Shindong are engrossed in a drinking game across the room, laughing drunkenly.
But the pair Seohyun tries her best not to watch is sitting in a cozy booth, speaking quietly.
Seohyun can see the way Sooyoung’s eyes light up as their fingers brush over the table. She can see the way Kyuhyun blushes when Sooyoung offers him a soft smile.
She can see them falling in love easily, slipping into each other’s heart without any effort, embedding themselves into their souls until it doesn’t matter who fell in love with who first, just the fact that they were never going to stop.
