You were all rather busy rebuilding houses and starving and suchlike. <- how insane must you be to adore that Fae anyway? 'cause he's brilliant. ^-^ He's absolutely brilliant.

*blinks* Ooh, that second bit isn't finished yet, is it? *cuddles Cochalyon* Poor, poor lad. You really are cruel to him, you know. Lovely to read, though. Very strong a piece technically. I love how it flows in and out of memory in this. Very beautiful. ^-^

Very sad piece, that. Also very different from the preceding once. That hda such a calm threat and menace in it.

Beautiful, though. The both of them. ^-^

Aw, thanks, precious! These two were fun. I'll have to finish the second one when I've actually done enough of my work to be worth rewarding (hoo).

I'm glad Arathalian seemed calm in the middle of all that polemic ... I was a bit worried things would go south (it's still so weird to have a calm bad guy instead of one of my ranters!). Mind you, I'm rather amused that it's basically just saying "I'm gonna git you" in 40 lines XD

And hey, at least Cochalyon is fully grown. *sticks out tongue* O;P

Well, you have to admit that it's a beautiful way to say it. ^-~ Half the scariness comes from the fact that he's taking 40 lines. At least a nice part of it comes from that anyway. *pokes Arathalian*

Why don't they all (minus Cochalyon, since his predicament isn't the same) just sit tight, be nice (well... attempt to be nice-ish) and wait for history to happen to them and the guarding gets less tight? *is curious* Could have tried already, I suppose, but given our wonderful ability to forget how bad things were eventually...

Fully grown does not, in any way, excuse you, you know. 'tis cruel, nothing changes that.

That's pretty much what most of them are doing (Ascalain, Fiannas, Ilinme ... in an Ilinmish way :P) and it's definitely what Arathalian is doing, but in a more negative prod-the-boundaries way. As for the others, Culundar is an opportunist who can't help himself - he's actually come close to escaping several times - and Nebeshanin genuinely doesn't believe humans will ever forget. So they just keep plugging away. ;D

Fully grown does not, in any way, excuse you, you know.
-- Well. Yes. True. *hem* But at least it'll be the police coming for me and not Welfare! *gives Telyn a jellybean*

Oooooooooooooh! More to the snippet! And you didn't warn me!

*is heavily inclined to send adult(ish) Telyn over* Though I'm sure that would end up being counterproductive in all ways.

You're not making me like that scene any more, you know. 'tis cruel. Gorgeous, but cruel. Very interesting to see a researcher with him, though. ^-^ And his reaction to her. Can't really blame him. *twitch* Wanted to smack her from, oh, the first sentence of the newly added bit onwards.

Loved the little glimpse into his friendship with Arathalian as well. ^-^ That's a lovely scene, though bitter sweet.

Oops. I suppose I should take 'unfinished' out of the title.

I'm really very curious to meet adult(ish) Telyn. You need to keep cranking along with the Tides for me, pet. O;) *cracks whip*

This is cruel. Okay, very cruel. I'm more upset about Espayon than Cochalyon at the moment, though ... poor guy didn't last a scene, and I was getting really fond of him. Tathrinnas, too. *sigh* :(

I actually find the latter part rather angsty and whatnot, but it -has- been pointed out to me lately that not all viewpoints can realistically be stoic. (And at least it's nowhere near Ziana/Rannon angst. *hiss*)

Er. Yes. Thankee very muchly, me precious! ;D

Espayon does sound nice. ^-^ And I didn't think the last part was at all angsty. Not in 'ARGH! Get away from me, angst-laden snippet!' sense anyway. ^-^

Oooh, and adult(ish) Telyn, if you really, truly, absolutely must know, isn't too terribly different, just older and annoyingly childish. Ask Becca. ^-~

'tis that you only read one story at a time, or I'd refer you to BiS and Storms.

And, if you really want, you can have the quarter of a scene that's all I've been able to finish and probably all I will finish until next week Thursday or later.
