new job
i've got myself a new job now. I am giving an official two weeks notice to Walgreen's asap. I now work at Kitchen & Company So if you are at the Foxrun Mall or going to Barnes n Noble come and say hi! I don't know much about my schedule yet cause they are giving me week to week schedule till i get settled in. I am working Fri (4-9) this week, and next week Wed, Fri, and Sat(4-9) and then Sun (10 -2). AT Walgreen's i will probably be working sun 2-10 or something. I don't knwo but i have to buy those valentines day cards and candy whil ei still get a discount. And i have to figure out where the LotR valentines that i got last year went cause they are mostly filled out^_^ teehee*_*.
ANywho, today was cool, no school so i went to B&N to read till 4 and then went to work. Working there is kinda cool cause no one has worked in that particular store for more than like 3 months cause it opened in Nov. THAT means no one is cocky and mean, of course that also means no one really knows much about the store as well, so know one knows where everything is and peoples' knowlege of things is restricted to certian sections for certain people. I dunno it's cool there. There's a couple of old guys that work there that are really funny and this girl jenny is funny too, however she is pregnant so i gotta watch out for mood swings. And Amy is wicked cUte! she reminds me of manga character i have to figure out which one tho. Alrighty, anway enough about that... oh wait one more thing, i get a better discount and pay there, and they give you your hours two weeks in advance! ^_^
I'm in a new D&D campaign in the Gaming club at school. This is cool cause i miss D&D, and i miss being a kender! This will hopefully stay bunches of fun. Here's how it is. There a bunch of newbies learning how to play and learning how to DM and then one semi-knowlegeable person trying to teach them (and occasionaly matt, but am hoping to keep him away cause he makes D&D not seem like fun when you first start) NOw besides all them, there's me n criag. I figure we're there to remind them that D&D is supposed to be more than just numbers and who does the most damage, its also about having FUN also. It seemed last tuesday that craig and i were causing a raucus and i hope we didn't piss anyone off, but it was alot of fun to role playa kender again, and i have a really cool when this time. Craig and i play kender twins Named Tissle and Tarlin. We have a whole background thing as well, it's wicked funny. I'm the reason he doesn't have a top knot! hahah/// oh.. poor guy...!_!.. anyway, every few seconds we're telling them to role a spot check cause they keeping letting there guard down and letting us jump on them! i've already gotten a jeweled dagger, a torch a few gold coins for various people and who knows what else, and we set a shop on fire. New Dms are cool tho cause they aren't trying to "get something accomplished" and won't get mad if you put something on them that is unexpected (like lighting a torch in a shop and then setting a bed role on fire(that was Tarlin, not me!) ) they'll just try to deal with it, and move on. UNfortunately we are dealig with new kids so they don't know how to role play a reaction to us when we start attacking them with questions, but hopefully we'll get them used to it, any who, if i get time i will update about the campaign in better detaina nd Tissle and Tarlin as characters.
