I've been wanting (forever, it seems like) to get back to blogging/journaling like I used to, so have been on the lookout for something to use as a morning warmup.
And then
kaaatie posted a TV version of the "30 Days" meme, and TV-junkie-me was hooked.
The goal here is 30 posts in 30 days. Fair warning: I'll be impressed with myself if I manage not to skip a day at least once.
Here is a list of the 30 prompts:

Shouldn't come as a shock here, but: Firefly
Of all of Joss' shows before or since (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Dollhouse), none have hit the ground running with such skill and with a cast and crew so clearly bringing their A-game as Firefly did.
Which is not to say it didn't stumble, 'cause it did - I still usually skip "Bushwhacked" when I go on a rewatching binge. But even the written-in-a-weekend "The Train Job" manages to entertain as it careens through the plot and worldbuilding and new-character-izations.
Sheriff Bourne: You were truthful back in town. These are tough times. A man can get a job. He might not look too close at what that job is. But a man learns all the details of a situation like ours... well... then he has a choice.
Mal: I don't believe he does.
I'd like to believe that someday we'll be able to traverse the multiverse and - expanding our comprehension of science & religion and uniting all mankind aside - get to indulge in worlds of pop culture "what if?"s:
- What if Paul McCartney and John Lennon had rekindled their friendship and collaboration?
- What if Annette Bening hadn't gotten pregnant, forcing her withdrawal from Batman Returns?
- What would the seventh season of Firefly have looked like?
