[The video cuts on to a very irate looking Johannes, messily cutting the pituitary gland out of the brain of a human corpse. There are six or seven overturned vials in the background. One of them is smoking, and he fixes the PCD with a sour look as he looms over the body.]

What is meant to, then? Not a lot of other creatures have the opposable thumbs necessary for a halfway decent brain extraction.

Brain extraction is not a necessary means of attaining knowledge, not unless the cadaver was donated to medicine by the deceased or by living kin.
