No one pinged me to post! But I'm doing it anyway, suckas.
So, on the last episode of Julie's Life, Momar had just returned from a grand adventure. He got out on the roof once after that, but I pulled him in before anything untoward happened to him.
Life has been up and down, good and bad, happy and sad. It's been insane for awhile, like the past six months. Just the feeling that I cannot keep up with it all, there's always something more to take care of. I think, however, that we have finally reached a point where things will be normal for at least a little while. Whatever normal is.
Matt has been extremely busy at work, which is both good and bad. More good lately since they hired another tech to cover the field work. He seems a lot calmer and happier with the job again after that happened. It was a bit sketchy there for awhile, I really thought he might think about starting to contemplate looking for a new job. ha ha ha. But it was pretty bad there for awhile.
The cats are well. The dog is... well, a puppy. He gets neutered this month. He still piddles in the house from time to time, but never when we're not home. We can leave him in the house for like 4 hours without anything untoward happening. But when we're home, he thinks it's a good idea to pee wherever he wants. Ugh! But, other than that, he's doing well with everything. He barks a lot more than I'd like (Which he picked up from Scully), so we're trying to break him of that, which is a challenge. But damn if he isn't cute.
I started training again after taking a long hiatus and putting some weight back on. Not all of it, which is good. But enough that I want to take it back off again. Now I just have to really start doing cardio, which involves going to the gym. See, my trainer started her own business, and comes to the house now, so I don't have to go to the gym for that. But once Andria lives here (Which is like, today), soon we can start going together, which makes it easier for me. I always do better when someone else is depending on my support, oddly. hahaha.
My parents are fine, the family is good. Not going anywhere for Easter. In fact, I just realized yesterday while talking to my mother that Easter is this weekend.
We had a gather at the house. Seventeen people staying here all together, and it went amazingly smoothly. I was very happy at how the house handled it all. I finally yesterday got everything back in its proper place. That feels good. It's like ushering in the couple of months of normalcy that we will have. Or that I hope we will have. Life has been hectic long enough. Some down time is much needed and welcome.
I would like to take the opportunity to say that I rule. I picked up sewing again when it came time to make garb for the gather, and everything came out beautifully. Like seriously. I didn't take any pictures, but
sudrin took a ton of them. I should bug him to set some of the ones of me public so you can see, if you wish. And you should. I look fantastic. ;)
I also rule because I can lay laminate flooring like I was born into it! I'm just such a crafty sort of chick. I fix cars! I fix houses! I sew! And I am generally cool.
I just don't do a lot of drama. And I'm fine with that.
Anyway. There's my general update. I cannot promise that I will update again anytime very soon. But who knows? I could surprise even myself.
