[Outside of House 11, the re-fitted wannabe Mansion which is bigger than the other houses in the village due to various expansions, there is a thirteen year old boy who doesn't look a day over ten. This thirteen year old boy currently has puffyness and tearing in his only visible eye as well as a blatantly running nose. Why, you ask?

And aren't you lucky, there happens to be one sniffing around the premises. Jennifer is nearby, of course, but she's much too shy and traumatized by small children to appear in his viewing range just yet.]

[CIEL IS BRITISH. So he likes dogs by default. Well, at least a little, he did as a kid anyway... But hey, what is that dog doing there?]

[Yes, he did just try to command someone else's dog. In a stern tone even]

But Brown is also a rather friendly, obedient dog so when he hears Ciel's voice his ears perk up and he turns to give him a quizzical look before trotting closer to the house, tail wagging uncertainly.

Meanwhile a rather large, hot rock of dread has settled quite uncomfortably in Jennifer's stomach, as this little scenario is bringing back...something. She's not sure what yet.]

[Good dog. Ciel even mutters as much when the dog comes, patting the thing on the head briefly before itching behind its ears. Any dog which will answer a stranger's call isn't going to bite him, after all, particularly when he has a stern fearless look in his eyes]

[He only gets hostile if you start tormenting his mistress.

But oh boy, hunting! Brown looks as pleased as a dog can be at the positive attention. Shall we be searching for candy and biscuits? :D]

[Good. Ciel smiles a little and crouches down after a little sneeze to point at the nearest lolcat]

Do you see that beast? I need yo to retrieve it.

[What, that weird kitten? That is a rather strange request, little boy. But whatever, Brown has searched for stranger things. But first he walks a little closer and snuffles Ciel all over, as if trying to capture a scent.

Yep. Definitely smells like cats.

So Brown will now bound off gaily in the direction Ciel points in, letting off a series of joyous barks. Of course, Ciel may be a bit disappointed when he figures out Brown isn't really trying to harm the cats, but hey.]

[At least the dog's off doing something.. Maybe it'll scare some of the cats. Argh if he really smells that much maybe he should get a change of clothes though? He just stands here being annoyed for now though]

But in any case, Jennifer is inching up nervously from behind and she coughs rather delicately into her hand. Apparently that was all the signal Brown needed as he stops in his chasing and runs back to his owner, tail wagging furiously as if he had just done some fantastic deed.]

[...And that causes Ciel to turn and. Oh. Hello little girl. He blinks his one eye and-] Am I to take you are that dog's owner?

He wasn't bothering you, was he...?
