Slightly Frazzled
Oh, am I so drowsy... I was up until three in the morning keeping watch on the shop.
Yesterday was basically good, with a better occupancy rate than before thanks to the new computers and Bayantel's blazing DSL connection. But still I have to watch out for the cables right under our feet and around the corner because stepping on them could either knock out the server or disconnect the whole router from the rest of the network. Yeah, I told my boss we should hire a electrician to wire us up a better outlet system, and I need a RJ45 crimper to fix the frayed ends.
Let's see... currently at least three of our PCs have a tendency to crash or restart, so I might have to reformat and reinstall them, taking only what's really needed while tuning them for speed. But we're determined to replace the junkers with better PCs, knowing all too well that the shop had a really bad rap for having the slowest machines in the neighborhood and we would like to correct that.
For the rates I'll have to correct the charge rates properly for special offers, as the Cafesuite billing system tends to give out the wrong charges.
Finally maybe tonight we'll haul in four more machines to augment the new PCs.
