No doubt about it, after unsuccessfully trying to print a wallet-sized pic with generic-type glossy photo paper -- even using the whole piece of paper.
It took me many tries, printing, then finding out the printer had a paper jam, took out the paper, reset the printer, printed again, and paper jam until I gave up, apologized and frankly told the customer that the printer is a prissy piece of crap. I was close to blowing my top and whispered under my breath that I'm nearly short of unplugging the damned thing and chucking it out into the street.
Well, for comparison, while most HP printers have a rubber roller the width of the paper, that Brother used only a toothed plastic wheel with only a width of about a quarter of an inch. What does it means and how it affects paper feeding? HP printers have a full grip on the paper, while the Brothers have poor grip, especially on certain types of paper.
This'll serve as a warning: never trust a printer with a quarter-inch-wide toothed plastic wheel. Steer clear of this crap, even if it's cheaper than an HP, a Lexmark or an Epson. Damn.
