Putting the "D" in Desktop

Now all I had was this very clean desktop, after setting Windows to hide the icons and access them by a small shortcut at the taskbar, so I went around looking for the right wallpaper to put up. Being my conservative self, I wanted something "classic" and simple enough to be work-safe, but there weren't any wallies that fit the bill.

Then an idea struck me: why don't I make a wallpaper that definitely puts the "D" in Desktop? What's the purpose of a desktop if it doesn't look the part? So I loaded up Photoshop CS and began Googling around for pics to construct a near-realistic desktop, putting together some of the things I like:

Now I go get some coffee. To hell with the food Nazis who are paranoid about coffee! xD
