Spotlight: Baka-Tsuki
While I await for the next client willing to pay for several Bratz-themed birthday invitations (fashion-wise, the lively Super Gals! would've put those goldfish-like gaijin oddballs to shame in Shibuya, IMHO xD) and give-away stickers... this is today's Website Spotlight:
Baka-Tsuki is a light novel fan translation community (as opposed to group, which is usually a term oriented towards anime fansubs and manga scanslations) which started off as a single-man effort trying to translate The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya into English, and once the anime version became a global smash hit (on the basis of the OP/ED sequence), they decided to spread the story further in its original light novel form. Since then they're taking on several popular light novels, which to me a satisfying alternative to the standard fare. Perfect for a rainy afternoon.
Apart from my personal favorite, there's an endeavor attempting to translate Haruhi into Tagalog.
I would like to take a Tagalog shot at Marimite, but I wish I could have a laptop (and a load of coffee) for this.

Update: Marimite defeats Google Translate and it fails in nouns and more complex kanji that only Oyuki Konno knows about. xD
Tasuku Hukuzawa (sic) Kana Ueda's previous role as Snake continue, as always, "Lady Mary" has seen many men like dubbing. その分、活気があって演じていても楽しかったです。 The minutes, playing lively and even enjoyable.
今回はいよいよ可南子ちゃんが登場します。 The girl finally appeared可南子. 彼女はちょっとズレているというか、今までの“マリア様”には無かったミステリアスな雰囲気なので、そこが見どころです。 She is a little shift that says, is to "Lady Mary" has been so mysterious atmosphere, it is Activities.
Yoshiko Ogasawara (sic) Miki Itoo's role, that is always the best dubbing fun playing the field. 第3話の中では、私が祐巳に対して想いをとてもストレートに伝えている場面が、とても好きなシーンです。 In the third story, my thoughts are with Eugene Snake (sic) conveyed to the scene very straight, very fond of scenes. 演じている私もそこにすごく想いを込めましたので、私の祐巳に対する“愛の言葉”をじっくり聞いていただければと思います。 I'm playing really there込めましたfeelings, I Snake Eugene for the "love" to sit down and listen to you.
Methinks of Metal Gear Solid, when Solid Snake gets flatlined and the comm screams: "Snake... SNAKE!!!!" ROFLMAO! xD

MOAR Update: diving through j1m0ne's previous entries, here's one concerning Moetan Listening Radio #3 which involved a 17-year old Pinay they dubbed Patora-chan.
Morinaga: My cat welcomes you. Miaooww.
Patora: Er ok...
Morinaga: Do you know Comiket? (Comic Market)
Patora: Is that the cat’s name?
Morinaga/Tomatsu: NOOOO.
WHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! MUNIIIING!
