Fresh from the Shower...
Yesterday I forgot to mention about boxing. Team Philippines made a straight win out of the Invasion. They showed what science and timing is all about, thanks to Freddie Roach. Peñalosa was in total control of the ring and so he successfully defended his title from the Thailander.
Know why I was full yesterday? The whole day there was a big load of leftovers that I was obliged to clean them up, adding up to cookies and cream ice cream and a tall glass of Coke, then later bags of peanuts, pork rinds and beer. The last thing I want to see in my fridge are leftovers that nobody bothered to pick up and consume, because they remind me too much of my sister's fridge while I stayed there. Waste not, want not.
Today's episode of Atashin'chi: In the midsummer heat, Mom Tachibana and her buddies find themselves having a bad case of being shortchanged by a cafe serving iced coffee, only to find that there were more ice cubes than coffee in their orders.
Today's episode of Voltron: dredged out memories of the English version and made some dubbing comparisons with the Tagalog version. Dubbing's okay, but I wish the dubber handling the kid piloting Green Lion should be a wee bit like the English original.
OBTW, as soon as Cabal Online PH comes out, we would like to try the game out. Looks exciting because there's a character type who could wield guns. GUNS! Yeah, and my half-sister is planning to rent out a cable box of their own. Good, because I hate missing good shows on the right time. And I'm marking April 19... for what? The Tagalog edition of Kill Bill Volume One on Cinema One. Let's see how it sounds like in Tagalog, especially at the film's "fight of the century": Beatrix vs Go Go. XD
