Recently I dropped into Erica's blog for the current news and opinions on the shoujo-ai front. Of great interest is the recent Marimite novel -- Kira Kira Mawaru -- and by far this might as well be either the turning point or a question mark regarding the future of the story. Of some spoilers, this novel, however, has one heck of a surprise: remember that red, wicked Maserati Quattroporte V (the fine, conservative, old-money answer to the popular Ferrari -- fitting enough for Roosevelt's famous statement) which most Marimite fans know is Suguru Kashiwagi's ride?
Well it turns out it wasn't his ride and belonged to his grandfather... and exactly what's the big bombshell since "Pimp My Ride"?
That Maserati has been bought by Sachiko's grandfather and she's driving it! Now we're really talking about character development! You go girl! XD
