With the control stick firmly in her hand, Sachiko had her eyes and the stealth-black ISAF Su46 Berkut II-GTS trained straight and hard at the row of Eurusian heavily-reinforced hard aircraft shelters as AA flack rounds were flying all over the sky, fiery popcorn spitting flecks of steel. The HUD brightly read out her bearing and speed, the targetting bracket trying to get a lock-on on the target guided by an ISAF commando lying two miles somewhere from the airbase.

With just two touches to the fire-control system panel, Sachiko had a pair of Mavericks armed and ready, missiles hard enough to punch through the shelters and turn them into outsized concrete ovens.

Then she felt a shudder or two within the fighter's airframe, and in a second the damage was shown in blinking red on the main display, a pair of shrapnel hits to the starboard engine pod. Sachiko frowned for a bit, and returned her concentration at the shelters and saw them looming big right on the HUD.

It was just right as she pulled the trigger on the control stick.

The two Mavericks were unlatched from their hardpoints on the wings, before the last connection between them and the fighter, a thin strand of wire connected to an arming pin, was pulled out. In a split second the missiles belched fire and smoke, at a speed twice as greater than Sachiko's plane and streaked towards the shelters.

Seven hundred meters later and the fighter climbing clear of the airbase, the shelters containing the Su-43G Ultraflankers were incinerated.

Ah... good evening guys. Got a souped-up layout this time. :)
