So... I need a vacuum cleaner. Kinda bad. Even before I moved in, there were some things that needed cleaning up in the apartment, and when my boxes and stuff got here they brought all kinds of detritus with them. It's not a disaster yet, but I should do something about it soon.
So what I want is a small-yet-powerful bagless vacuum.
Amazon says that the Hoover S2220 Flair Bagless Upright Stick Vacuum is one of their most popular sellers and the price is right at $60, but some reviewers say that it broke after just a few months of use.
Anybody have any personal recommendations? I have carpets and wooden floors.
