[ Teddie is unused to this "blindfold" thing. He's never encountered anything like it before! It's a little scary... And the best way to combat that fear? False bravado, of course! He speaks with his "King of the TV World" voice, a voice that when in doubt can be used for all occasions! ]

Teddie is my name and resonation is my game! Come on, Kurt-san, we can do this!

[ By now Teddie's learned how to transform pretty easily, and since he prefers being in his weapon form for the most part that's how he's looking here and now! His bear suit is the perfect weapon form if you ask him, of course with the limited mobility he has without a meister to resonate with... well, it can get kind of difficult to get around. That's why he's here, after all! ]

[ ...wonderful. He sounds completely ridiculous. With a sigh, Kurt reaches vaguely in the direction of Teddie's voice. ]

...Right. So what kind of weapon are you, exactly? I want to know what I'm about to touch and if I should be worried about cutting myself. This really doesn't seem very safe at all, does it?

[ Blindfolds and Weapons. Sounds legit. Legitimately dangerous. ]

I'm a bear! Er, I mean, a bear suit. You don't have to worry about cutting yourself on me, Kurt-san. I have the softest, most delicate and fine fur a bear could ever ask for! Normally I wouldn't let anyone touch it for fear their oily hands would ruin all my hard work and dedication into making it just so, so you have a unique opportunity here! ...bear suit. [ Here he goes, incredulously repeating himself in the hopes that he somehow misheard Teddie the first time. But no, he didn't. How could he. Oh well. He'll grin and bear it - no pun intended.

Kurt's fingertips come in contact with the fur of the bear suit and... at first it seems like nothing has happened. That's good - it means they aren't completely incompatible. There's a barely perceptible low hum of resonation, the most basic kind of resonation. ] ...Well. It's working. And I'll have you know my hands aren't oily. I take great care to ensure that.

Ohhh do you have special hands? Do you wear something? Do you do something special to them to make them not-oily? Oh, nevermind, let's get to this resonating! [ Whether he feels something or not, this is just too weird. Kurt breaks contact with Teddie and pulls off his blindfold. Screw the rules.

...What he sees is worse than he'd thought. ] You're supposed to be a bear?

[ Teddie keeps his blindfold on, wanting to play by the rules for this one. He has no idea Kurt took off his blindfold. ]

Yes, Teddie is a bear! That's what I said. Teddie is Teddie and Teddie is a bear. Don't worry, I can stretch if you're too tall! I think.

No, I mean... I heard bear suit and thought something resembling a bear. In suit form. I'm looking at you right now and you're definitely the weirdest looking bear I've seen in my entire life. [ He pauses. ] No offense.

What are you talking about? I do resemble a bear! Grrr I worked really hard to look this way and this is what you have to tell me? My fur is grade a quality! My ears perky and cute! My eyes - [ Wait a minute. If Kurt's talking about how he looks, then he must've taken off his blindfold! That cheater, how rude! But more importantly, that means Teddie can do it too to sneak a look at Kurt-san, which he definitely does by lifting it to rest on the top of his head. ]

My eyes can now see you! You must have something wrong with yours, Kurt-san. I look exactly like a bear! I am one, after all.

It's like... if someone were asked to make a bear suit without having much of an idea what a bear even was. What's with the button... things? [ He gestures, almost offended, at the red buttons along Teddie's font. ] Maybe you look sort of cute, but you barely resemble a bear, trust me.

What's wrong with looking cute, huh?! I keep telling you, I'm a bear! And the buttons were my special touch. What's wrong with being colorful, huh? Why don't you try to make a bear suit from scratch and come up with better? It's impossible, I tell you! I worked so very hard to make everything perfect, and all you can say is that I don't look like a bear at all. Well, shows what you know!

[ Kurt stares, mouth ajar, unsure what to say to all this. He probably could make a better bear suit, actually. But that's not the point. The point is he's hurt Teddie's feelings.

There's only one thing to do. ] Fine, fine. I'm sorry. I was just... surprised. Calm down.

[ Kurt apologized. Kurt... apologized! ] Apology accepted! [ And guess who's back to his bright usual self again, smiling as only a bear suit can? Hint: the name rhymes with "Eddie". ] Now you should really put me on so we can see exactly how I work. Don't you think so, Kurt-san?

....No? I actually don't. I've never had to wear a Weapon before. It seems... weird. I bet it messes up my hair, too. [ He raises a hand and carefully adjusts it. It just ends up falling back into place, perfectly controlled... for now. ]
