"I thought the imps were at your old house, from before you came here?" Luna glanced up from her magazine, not entirely sure why Jade had burst into her room to ask about imps (but not entirely minding, either).

"That's just thing thing, what if I get back and they're still there?!" The thought had just now occurred to her -- that she'd be going back one day, and the timelines she had been through and jumped around in were getting so jumbled that maybe she'd come back to imps. "I don't want to die!"

It might have occurred to a more typical witch to mention that not many people really thought that imps were a bad omen, but of course Luna was not particularly normal and very much believed that they were a danger to her new friend. "I wouldn't worry, now that you've gotten away and you can make the repellent."

"There's a repellent? What is it?" Jade asked, already grinning. (Her friends would be so upset if she was eaten by imps, or cursed, or... whatever imps did.)

Luna smiled her mysterious little smile, and explained every little detail she could remember. Yet again, she had an eager audience for the information she was relaying from Dad's studies and The Quibbler; she ought to hate Death City, she knew that, but when things like this happened, Luna wasn't sure she ever wanted to leave.
