"Uhh yeah. Yep. We've covered your feelings on this already."
IT was all Kuwabara could not to try and strangle the demon. He pressed his hand to his face, trying to somehow, physically, keep the headache back. Hiei sat on the floor opposite him; he reminded Kuwabara of a cat.
A very pissed off cat.
"Just-- it's not that hard! Hold your hand out--" The minutes ticked past as Kuwabara works meticulously around Hiei's fingers, looping the string. "See? Cat's Cradle. Then I pinch here--"
"This is stupid."
Kuwabara briefly wondered how far he'd get with trying to tie up Hiei's hands and fingers enough to punch him in the head and run far enough away before he got free.
One look at Hiei's face told him it wouldn't be far. "Alright, alright. I got somethin' better."
Hiei stared down at the little colorful paper tube Kuwabara held out for him, as if wondering if the thing would bite him or somehow kill him.
"Look--" He grabbed Hiei's hands, with only the minimal amount of expected struggle, and placed one index finger in one end of the tube, and the other finger in the other.
"Good luck getting out, shorty." And Kuwabara patted him on the shoulder as he stood, wandering away to find shelter. It took only 5 minutes for the shouts of "KUWABARA" and curses to start.

Kuwabara was teaching Hiei Cat's cradle in the beginning, and then gave him a Chinese finger trap. Hiei can't just rip it though; not right away/
A variation on the Chinese finger trap used in orthopedic medicine-namely, providing even pressure to the patient's digit(s) and at the same time immobilizing the joints-serve a similar purpose as a traction device.
