Hi guys - just a quick post. I've been reminded that next Friday is February FFS (where are the days going?!) and I promised Ju I'd post about venue

have you guys considering it as new venue for book club? first time I have heard of it.

Me too - I thought we were all happy in the current pub?

Yep, discussed at last meeting. We're going to try it for the next meeting and see how we go.

Current pub is impossible for me to hear discussion because it's too noisy, and it's a bit pricey too.

Would have appreciated being included in the discussion. I'm not sure the Ball will be much quieter tbh.

Okie dokie, thanks for mentioning it, as K said, would have been nice to be told/included in votes when things change in the book club. I think a pint of beer is abt 20p more expensive than elsewhere at The York. Also I didn't realised ppl were not happy at The York till now? But as you say, am sure there will be further discussions.

Sorry if I made it sound set in stone - I expect final decision will be when we agree next meeting, so we can discuss how we all feel about venue then. If the Ball is unsuitable, the option of free tea and cake at my house is still open too ;-).
