Attention, Soul Campaign!
Here is part two of the mod post.
We will be changing the weapon system when it comes to apps -- instead of asking for four specific abilities, we will go back to the matrix of asking for and allowing only one general, flexible ability for the weapon. We feel that this is more in line with the weapon abilities shown in the Soul Eater canon, and this will also make the weapon application process easier for everyone. The application form has been changed to reflect this, and here is a link to the weapon guideline we put up. We'll be adding more samples to it through the next weeks!
What does this mean for your weapon characters?
You don’t have to change your character’s weapon ability -- we will allow all current players to keep the abilities that they have. However, if you want to change your character’s weapon abilities, you have several options to be able to do so:
► If the revisions are huge, it will have to be done through the standard character change process (re: BREW returning them home for an in-game day where they will forget about Death City, and then regaining their memories upon returning to the game). Please submit the revisions to us and update your character’s application after.
► If the revisions are minor, we can retcon previous manifestations of the weapon ability and assume that that’s how it’s always been for the character. Please submit the revisions to us and update your character’s application after.
► If the revisions are for weapons who have never used the weapon ability listed in their application, we need only change the application and you can continue playing the character as usual. Please submit the revisions to us and update your character’s application after.
All changes must be submitted by November 15, 2011. December apps will be coming up so we would like to have the changes done by then. The changes may take a while if there are a lot who want their weapon abilities revised, but we will do our best to process these in a timely manner. We ask for your patience regarding this, and thank you for your understanding.
