ALRIGHT, so a week after the fact I'm more back from hiatus than I was before. which means i should be doing tags like... in a few minutes... sob cry sob.
but! more importantly, i can finally talk about that thing i've obnoxiously been hinting at the past few weeks!
in case it was ever really a secret to anyone, the perpetrator, the pilfering person who plundered BREW, is Remington. you know, big surprise that someone dressed like that is a rogue.
so! what this means is that i need people! pictures of spiderman spry people! i need people who want to try and catch this thief, on my desk by yesterday!
in the next two in-game days, after the Agency (courtesy of Near and what few cameras were left unbroken by Lili) deciphers who that black shape caught on film is, there will be a hunt for the stupid bastard. if no one really feels like chasing down a French guy whose brother's a cat, i believe Watch leader Armstrong will be taking up the duty, but this is a good chance for all you goodly-oriented types to get out and try and bring Snidely Whiplash to justice.
Remington is unarmed, yet nimble. he won't attempt to fight pursuers, but if he has the chance, he may use the environment to his advantage (pushing stuff over, pushing... heavy stuff over...) his feats of athleticism and acrobatics have been powered down to something more akin to Olympic-level, but he should still lead people a merry chase over rooftops and other crap. anyone is free to join in, but in order to keep pace, one would probably have to be at least as monkey-like as he.
this will be logged. it'll be fun for people who want to write something action oriented, without necessarily having the risk of their character getting seriously injured. if i get a number of people interested, i can work out either individual threads within the log, or do something more group-wide and cooperative.
whether or not anyone will succeed in capturing him in this log has yet to be decided, but by two day changes from now, he will come clean one way or another. we can talk.
