My father hasn't left it up to me, he's left it up to her. He said that he "already knew my opinion on the subject". Can't quite figure out what he was inferring there.
He asked her what she thought of me, she said I was okay, and he said that every summer he would ask her that and if she could tell him truthfully that she didn't think the same anymore, the wedding would be off.
Well, that's kind of a tough one, isn't it? I mean, it's not like you'd want her to hate you. Maybe you could just try talking to your parents about it? I mean... what if you meet someone?
