Seems that I'm still waiting for the sun

Description: Picnic time!
Gwendal was the first to arrive, of course, with the folded blanket in one arm and a jar of deserts. He set the jar down by a large oak tree, kneeling down to unfold the blanket and lay it down on the grass. The tree was large and the sun was high, but the shade was a bit cool despite the heat of this desert like place. Gwendal had long since given up trying to fix his jacket. The tear was simply too large. Not only that but it was too hot for it and while he was still on duty to His Majesty, wardrobe was the furthest from his mind. Not to mention he only arrived in one and he could only wear it so many times.
Dressed in jeans, a button down white shirt and dark green knitted vest (that he made) over it, he casually rolled his sleeves as he set the jar on the blanket. Digging into his pocket, he pulled out his PDA to check the time. He was early so it would be only a few more minutes before His Majesty and the others arrived.
