He supposes, that because he arrived here, then everyone else will follow in time. If it were Destiny, then so be it. Kamui is -- was -- thankful that he hasn't been followed by his Destiny all the way here, in Death City. Perhaps someone Up There is watching his back, but he's not so sure anymore ever since Kazuki's arrival. It could mean anything, it could mean nothing.
He probably shouldn't be thinking about this too hard, but he can't help it. And, well, Kazuki being Kazuki, he feels a slight tinge of responsibility towards him. It. He's only a child, after all. Responsibilities are important; just because they're not in Tokyo, doesn't mean he should abandon them entirely. (Eliminating the Seals is another matter, especially when the foreordained day doesn't apply here.)
... that, and Nataku was making odd bargains with different people over the Network. Not that Kazuki himself will care anymore (he died? when did this happen? so he's a lot further in the future than he was ....); he wonders if he has a different Wish now. Pity he can't see them anymore, for who knows what will happen if he was careless with him.
He walks calmly into the chamber, smiling.
