Description: Cloud goes to exercise, but the shadow has a better idea for a confrontation.
Cloud was pleased to see Aerith, more then he could have himself let on. Just seeing her alive and well, teasing him like old times took a weight off of his shoulders. He had known the risks when they had started the journey, but he hadn't expected her to take matters into her own hands to left within the rest of them. Her death had been a horrible moment that he had never entirely dealt with because of the mission, but now... he felt better. She was still happy, even knowing what she had chose.
The relief had gotten him in the mood for exercise. He had pretty much tired himself of doing squats in his room, so he thought that he had enough good luck to risk a brief jaunt in the fog. There hadn't been too many dire consequences on their food run, so he felt confident that it wouldn't cause a problem if he was close to a doorway that would allow him back inside. There was apparently a nice place to do pull-ups, and that was exactly what he was in the mood for.
He didn't return to his room beforehand and instead just took the stairs to the rooftop. The roof was clear of people and the fog was as thick as it had been the day before. The earth still had tremors, and he wondered how good the structural integrity of this building. It hadn't fallen yet, but it seemed that more and more alternates of other people were appearing.
Regardless of the possible dangers, he ventured onto the rooftop and over to where a bar was erected. Didn't Sephiroth sleep on the roof? It was an odd notion, but the ex-General wasn't here. He bet that the silver-haired man was still chasing around that odd shadow. Perhaps they were off fighting each other.
Sighing, he jumped up to grasped the bar with his hands and began to haul his weight up and down on the strength of his arms. He made no noise aside from the occasional grunt as he crossed his ankles, rising and falling in a steady rhythm. This was probably his second favourite exercise activity, and it was nice to be able to get back to it.
