In the entryway of Casualty Communal, a young woman stood at the glass doors, studying the outside world.

There was something about the fog out there. Heather watched it billow and shift in-curiously. Her bland expression was that of a teenager who no longer felt anything for the sad or frightening news stories she saw on TV; the fog and the violence it promised did nothing to scare her. It was a little creepy to look at, but Heather reminded herself of the things, the monsters she had confronted only a day before her arrival.

The fog was just that, fog, though she would not willingly go out into its sickly looking clouds unless she had a reason. With a need and with a weapon, she wouldn't hesitate in entering the foggy streets as so many did - but she had neither, and so she heeded the warnings on the D.E.M.I.S.E. network, not out of fear, but out of bored resignation. Heather leaned on the arm of the door, wondering if she was willing to push on it just a bit, excuse the motion as an accident, and tumble outside.

Whatever was out there would surely keep her more occupied than the boredom inside.

The door to the stairwell burst open as Sephiroth came stalking out of it. His gaze instantly flickered from one end of the large open foyer to the other before it appeared that the area was relatively clear. That was at least something to be grateful about. The sooner he left the confines of this building the better, after all.

His movements were swift and near-silent as he made his way across to the glass doors. The sight of the female parasite half-blocking the entrance caused his eyes to narrow subtly in displeasure. She was fortunate of the deal he'd made with his wayward puppet, for before then he wouldn't have hesitated in simply ridding her from his path.

Slowing his movements as he approached the doors, Sephiroth only spoke as he stopped just a few feet from the irritating obstruction. "Move," He had little patience for those standing in his way, and Sephiroth didn't bother hiding it within the single word he spoke.

Heather stared up at the newcomer, expression distant until she stirred interest in her sluggish thoughts. A man with long silver hair, an imposing and uncaring demeanor. The girl shrugged, stepping out of the way. Her eyes trailed up his slender form as she stood aside. There was nothing sexual about her stare, but there was appraisal, a studying quality to her glance.

"You're going out in that?" She gave a sideways nod to the yellowish fog, the expression in her voice clearly questioning his sanity.

Uncaring for the gaze inspecting him, Sephiroth merely grunted as he moved to push the doors open. What attention he received from others was something he'd had for decades, and it was far too easy to simply brush it off and ignore it. That was what he'd been intending to do for he doubted this one would be foolish enough to speak. Yet as her silence was broken, Sephiroth found himself pausing and glancing back to her at the insect's question.

"I hardly see reason not to," Sephiroth smoothly said as he held the door half open

The teen was not impressed nor cowed by his intimidating gaze. She met his glowing eyes with annoyance rather than showing an ounce of fear. "Oh...I don't know...maybe because there's stuff out there that could kill you?" Heather folded her arms. Her expression was touched with uncertainty only because she had no idea why she decided to try and stop this man from venturing out into the fog.

"You're not even bringing a weapon." She shrugged, turning back to the door and leaning gently on the bar that would open it. Her eyes searched the clouds of yellow. "There's no telling what's out there."

Her reasons brought a small huff of amusement from the ex-General. Something that could kill him? The mere concept would have been nearly laughable if he hadn't ventured out the first day of the fog. Still, what he had gone up against was hardly anything strong enough to take his life.

"There's no telling what's in here either," Sephiroth found himself eventually murmuring as his attention returned back to watch outside the door. "Besides, I have no need to carry a weapon when I am one myself."

Heather gave a sarcastic snort, staring out at the shifting shapes in the fog. "That's the lamest excuse anyone ever uses. So what if you don't know what's in here...you know it better than what's out there." She tilted her head to look at him. "You're a Weapon?" She asked, her edgy face looking slightly curious. Her eyes narrowed slightly, appraising him again.

"If you're bored, you should say that instead of trying to make yourself look good."

The curve of his lips only seemed to increase at her answer. Obviously she'd only take his words at face value, but that was fine with him. Actually, it was what he rather preferred. He narrowed his eyes subtly at the rather forward question and the appraising look she seemed prudent to give. "I am," Sephiroth said without hesitation.

"I hardly need to twist my words to attempt such a thing," He said with a subtle shrug. Still, he couldn't help but admit to himself that there was at least some subtle spark of curiosity within. He wasn't one to refuse a little distraction when it proved to be at least a little interesting. Releasing his hold on the door, Sephiroth's attention shifted over to regard the young parasite, "Oh? And are you offering your presence to end such boredom?"

[ooc: oh god =_= even though he doesn't mean it that way, SEPHIROTH YOU SOUND LIKE A PERVERT!]

The young woman looked up at Sephiroth blankly, then shrugged. "If all you want to do is talk. Sure."
