Location: Hiei's apartment
Rating: PG - maybe PG-13 if Hiei's mouthy?
Time: January 19th, late morning/early afternoon
Description: Hiei ignores his birthday, he and Kurama finally discuss where Kurama will live while he's in Death City.
It's near noon, and Hiei still hasn't budged from his lump in the covers. Comforters, all the lower blankets, everything, were gathered in a bit of a cocoon around the fire demon, his way of keeping as warm as he liked to be without being able to control his own body heat. Of course, with the pesky cold gone there was no excuse other than pride why he couldn't insist his partner share body heat with him like they had been previously. So instead he'd settled with wrapping himself up, only a few stray pieces of vertical sticking hair as the indication that he was still within the blankets. Curled on his side he finally, sleepily, pushes his head out to look at the clock for a moment - at least until he takes in the date.
January 19th - not a day to celebrate at all. Maybe not even a day worth getting out of bed.
Birthdays were usually happy days, but the small demon found nothing to celebrate in the day, and after a moment to think - well. He just... sticks his head back in the blankets, sort of like a less hard shelled turtle, seemingly determined to sleep through the day and pretend it never even happened.
Unless Kurama had other plans, of course.
