"Va, ya va!" Spain called in response to the knocks, and the familiar voice that accompanied them. If only Prussia's directions had been more coherent, then he would've been able to avoid (awkwardly) asking England where the clinic was.

If only he knew it was in the same building he was staying in.

Precariously balancing his box of churros on top of a case of beer for Prussia, he reached his free hand for the doorknob and pulled it open. "There you are. Prusia has been-" and he stopped, there, because he noticed the other country's companion. He recognized the man, in fact, and pulled up a vibrant smile.

"Hola de nuevo!"

...Ah, he recognized this one as well.

"Hello."

Roy nodded in greeting, and then immediately looked at what the other man was carrying. Beer, and some box of... something.

England eyed Spain, and then his gaze shifted to Roy, and back to Spain once more. "You two have already met, then?"

Spain looked from Roy to England, smile fading. It was only a little, though, as he stepped out into the hall and pulled the door shut with him.

"Over the, ah, network, after I had finished shopping," he tested the knob, making sure the door was locked. Granted, all he had in there was food, but he'd spent a lot of time getting it, damnit. "Though I don't think I was able to introduce myself before I started making churros for Prusia."

When he turned back to them, he offered Roy his hand and a cheerful expression, still balancing his things in the other arm. "Spain. Or, if you prefer, Antonio. Antonio Fernandez Carriedo."

"Roy Mustang."

Roy took Spain's hand and gave it one strong, firm shake.

"Do you need help with that?"

"Un placer."

And Spain's expression twisted a little, becoming an amused grin for a split second in response to the handshake. Whatever reason for Roy's presence, he definitely wasn't complaining after that.

"I should be all right," a pause, and his original cheer returned as he moved to support the pack with both hands beneath it, "Gracias, though."

Things seemed to be getting along just fine for the most part. If Roy and Spain talked, England wouldn't have to worry about feeling awkward. He sighed and started heading down the hallway.

"If you say so."

Roy turned away, and followed after England. He wasn't particularly sure HOW he felt about going to see Winry Rockbell again that soon, but... well, there was no avoiding it. They were stuck in Death City - they'd end up running into each other eventually, even if he delayed it now.

Spain looked at England.

Spain looked at Roy.

Spain frowned.

Granted, as far as he could tell, England seemed perfectly fine at the moment. But maybe that was what was bothering him. Unspoken truce or not, he expected something out of him, and ended up... Well, not getting a thing. Briefly, he wondered if Roy's presence was the cause of that, but the man with them seemed down. Even Spain could tell that.

He decided to pop open the box he'd put the churros in, pulling one out and offering it to England, while he offered the box towards Roy. "Here! Before we get to the clinic and Prusia decides he wants the whole box."

England was surprised. That came out of nowhere. Hesitantly, he took the pastry, nodded his head in thanks, and started chewing on it. He wasn't very hungry, but it was probably better for him to eat something. Spain's cooking was pretty damn good. Even he would admit that. (England's was still better, though.)

He pressed the button to the elevator and waited for it to come up without saying a word.

Well, that wasn't entirely expected. Roy took the offered box with open curiosity.

"Thank you."

Where had that come from?

Waters properly tested, Spain would sit back and observe his present company between the elevator and the clinic. At least with food to occupy them, there wouldn't be a need for conversation until then. Even with a third party between the two of them, he was still unsure of how this would go.

Prussia would probably do enough talking for the lot of them, anyways. He knew what happened when his friend was bored, and he had a feeling that this would be no different.
