It was more than half a year ago Kaoru first offered this one a place to stay, but it's been too long since I've been back.

[Takuto could take that as he would-the time could easily be interpreted as that spent in Death City, but Kenshin had attempted to delicately bypass the fact that he'd spent more than a few months away from the dojo since Kaoru had let him stay there.]
