Rating: PG-13 and up because...gorillas and sadists.

Description: "So, it's about time we demote Hijikata-san, right?"
Sougo picked his bokken carefully from the rack -- testing out a few until he found a nice, reliable weight. Whenever he had something to talk about (which was rarely because he generally kept to himself), Okita found it was easier to do so when he had a weapon in his hand and could focus on fighting his opponent more than the actual talking part. That was why today he'd asked his commander to join him in training because he had a pressing thought on his mind, something that threatened to go against his very character design!
He liked Lucy.
He wasn't sure how it happened or why other than the fact that she let him drag her around in a collar and leash at the festival and still came back for more because she was an M in denial. But hypothetically, what did that mean for him? Kondo was the last person he wanted to talk this over with -- but given that his choices were Kondo, some asshole, and some one-armed asshole, this was the lesser of the three evils.
