Characters: Soul and whoever wants to bump into him~ Location: Music stores all over the Shopping District, or in Holocaust Mall Rating: G Time: January 7, afternoon Description: Music's a cool hobby to have, bro.
[Raidou had never really listened to music when he was younger. Like many others from traditional families of his time, he had also been forbidden from listening to modern music, instead growing up with traditional koto and biwa. After moving to the Capital, he had found himself wanting to stop to listen whenever he passed by a restaurant or coffee house playing western bands, or when Narumi had turned on the radio; it had all been so very, very new.
That's why, after doing grocery shopping at the Holocaust Mall, Raidou lingers near a record store, thoughtful. Whatever they have here, in this age, is probably not what his family would have him listen to... But surely there is no harm? It is not as though he's expected to avoid ever hearing anything foreign...
[Soul entered the store without another moment of hesitation. From the way the people at the counter greeted him, it was obvious that he was a regular.]
[Raidou follows, looking around. The high-tech looking gadgets mystify him - he can figure out what a CD player is (CDs are like vinyl records but smaller, right?), but what is an iPod?]

What do people listen to nowadays, anyway?]

Need something?

Not exactly... I was merely wondering about the music of this time period.

[A music elitist, that is what Soul is.]

Those are music players. You can load them with digital copies of songs you like, and they'll play them back for you.

I don't suppose people use vinyl records anymore?

Some people still do, actually. I do, since I like the sound better.
