[ The most cheerful woman to ever step foot in death city, Rangiku Matsumoto, appears to have been here for quite a while, with the impressive entirely empty bottles she currently has resting on the counter next to her. Of course, her perception and hand eye coordination being off while drunk has no place on her mind as her hand accidentally hits her drink and spills some directly towards Zantanna.

Rangiku just ends up frowning and begins to whine. ]

Argh! Damn it! Why do my drinks always end up spilling?! These things shouldn't happen to good people!

[Zatanna's at that point in life where she tries not to get too drunk in public. At home, in particular, it means a media frenzy and all the bad PR in the world. She doesn't go out much -- drinking, at least -- any longer. She frowns a little at the lack of an apology, but she figured any other time she'd be that asshole sitting next to this woman, cackling and hoping the bar was full enough that some creep in the corner'd buy them new drinks.

So instead, she waves the bartender over and gets the woman one of those super-huge, sturdy glasses with a straw and fruity drink inside and scoots over a few spots.] It's just a fact of life: bad things always happen to the best people.

[ Rangiku, for some reason, is a lieutenant of an army that guides the spiritual world at large. No one bats an eye at her getting drunk in public.

With her approach, Rangiku first notices the ridiculously over-sized but very sturdy glass. ]

[ At realizing that it's for her, the only thing she can properly process is whatever the feudal Japan version of this song could be. ]

For me...? [ She takes a sip of it, still with a complete pants-on-head stupefied look on her face. ]

[ And now the super loud, over excited squeals would begin! She'd hug you if she didn't think her arms were seized by tongs earlier in the afternoon.

Instead, she turns to Zatanna with a metabolism-invigorating enthusiasm that few have ever seen before in their life. ]
But there are angels to make up for this, riiiiight?

[Not too far from the reaction she expected, but still... unprepared for it, she grins. Thankfully not too full of alcohol yet that anything above a whisper would make her want to kill the person it came from. ]

[With that, she orders herself a cosmo in preparation of finishing her current drink.]

Aah, I'm sure free alcohol is pretty much the way to become an acception for anything! [ Rangiku is always the drink erryday allday type of drunk. She offers the other girl a huge grin as a sign of solidarity. Rangiku however has one dying question to ask here. ]

Oh, ah, it was more popular a few years back -- mixed drink. Vodka Citron, Triple Sec, lime juice, and cranberry juice. Cointreau can be used in place of the Triple Sec. [She dun curr if it's out of style, it is delicious. She'll drink them and appletinis to high heaven.] I tend to go for mixed drinks; cuts the bitterness.

If tonight was a bad night, I'd go for a Long Island Iced Tea. I can get completely smashed on like, one and a half of those.

I agree! The tasty drinks are always more mixed~! More flavor, and you can have more to drink even though the glass is the same size! [ that line of thought will make more sense 6 drinks later. ]

A Long Island Iced Tea? What's that? Wouldn't something be called tea be actual tea?

Hits you harder, goes down easier, and tastes better. I see nothing wrong with that. [PERFECTLY LOGICAL!]

It's a pretty strong mixed drink. Looks more like iced tea than it tastes, I think! I believe it has seven different alcohols in it? I can't recall. [Just that there is a lot in it and it is delicious.]
