Description: After searching through both the information given and the city surrounding him, Sephiroth's investigation takes him to an interesting discovery.
He'd spent the better part of the day going over the information given to him. Sephiroth couldn't help but admit that it was a substantial amount he'd obtained, and he read over each and every link with the utmost focus. The fundamentals of this world seemed to make far more sense, but it seemed like such a foolish method based on trust. What a foolish concept to base a society around.
The thought that this world seemed to live off of a system of meisters and weapons was of no interest to the ex-General. No, those who were considered as such were nothing but an obstacle in his way, and he would hardly allow them to interfere in his grand desires.
Perhaps one of the two most interesting pieces of information he'd found was the information regarding the time differences. It explained much after his mind had wandered back to consider his previous encounter with Cloud. What the blonde had originally said simply hadn't made sense until he'd found out that piece of information. If he thought back to what was said, then it could be reasoned that his little wayward puppet had been taken from a point just after his second defeat.
The other was the descriptions of what a meister and a weapon truly were. Yet if Sephiroth was being honest with himself, he was far more interested in the information regarding the weapons. He remembered well the rapier-like blade protruding from Genesis during their first encounter. Sephiroth hadn't given himself the opportunity to consider the origins of the weapon at the time. As he thought back to that moment, coupled with the new pieces of information, he took an educated guess that if Genesis was either, that the other SOLDIER would fall into the category of a weapon. He would hardly allow for himself to become a tool to be used for this pointless war they were waging.
Sudden movement through the fog drew Sephiroth's attention away from his thoughts. The sounds of voices had initially drawn the once General over to the area, but it hadn't been until he'd caught sight of the barricaded area that Sephiroth's focus had been entirely stolen.
Prowling a wide circle around the guarded area, there seemed to be an eerie glow within the fog as Sephiroth's gaze continued to burn softly. Just why they saw the need to keep such a location so heavily guarded left him suspicious, and as he remained off in the distance quietly observing the guard's routine, Sephiroth wondered behind the wisdom on pressing on regardless.
If any of those guards proved to be a weapon, then it would post far too much of a risk onto himself. Masamune's comforting weight was missed, and while he held confidence in his abilities, Sephiroth had to remind himself that his powers had somehow been severed.
