Description: Lili invited Leo over to celebrate and maybe stay the night.
Leo reached the door to Lili’s apartment with mixed feelings. On one side the Half-lion was quite happy that he didn’t have to spend such a romantic holiday on his own, on the other the memory of their last encounter and the subsequent offer for him to stay the night were enough to make him blush like an idiot even now. He had been about to turn around several times on his way here (which was quite something considering that they lived in the same house!) and in the end it had been mostly the knowledge that Lili would find out and hunt him down if he high-tailed it now that had kept him from running away from what promised to be a very intense Christmas experience one way or another.
‘Me’n a human… What the FUCK am I even thinking…’
The thought was ridiculous of course. Lili was a human and Leo a Half so there was no chance in hell that anything between them would happen, even if they were theoretically a boy and a girl setting up to spent not only one of the most important days for lovers but also the following night together. It was all just… Being lonely, yeah! She definitely had only felt lonely without anybody around on such a day and he’d been the first-best choice! …or something. Maybe she was throwing a party he didn’t know about.
Letting out a soft groan, Leo shook his head, trying to get those thoughts and many more out of it. Feeling quite conscious of himself, he readjusted the weight of his backpack that didn’t only hold a set of spare clothes but also two presents he hoped Lili would like and then knocked at the door.
