[The knock on the door sends Minako scurrying up out of her seat, and dashing around her living area, making sure for one last time that her present to Shinjiro is well hidden. Pretty much in plain sight, but she'd popped inside a little wooden decorative box on her coffee table and decided that would do well enough. It was wrapped as well, so it wasn't like anyone could have stumbled across it and known exactly what it was at first sight.

Dusting down her skirt, Minako gave the apartment one cursory glance around, before flipping the latch on the door and opening it enough to stick her head around with a smile.]

Boo.

Terrifying. [Deadpan as always, though he does manage a quirk of a smile before walking in, toeing off his boots.]

...this is yours. [Here Minako, have a small bag. It's not fancy or wrapped or even with a ribbon: he's never been one for fancery. But it's nice regardless... he supposed he should have been more romantic about it, but... well it's Shinji]

Clearly, that's what I was aiming for. [Minako shuts the door behind them with a slight click, and spins around... and comes face to face with her Christmas present.

She takes hold of it carefully, letting the handle slip onto her wrist, before leaning up and lightly kissing the end of Shinjiro's nose, her free hand reaching out and grabbing one of his before he can sneak away, or get all awkward on her.]

Thank you. [She squeezes the captured hand carefully, before loosening her grip so he can slink away if he wants.] Did you want to a drink or something?

[He ponders slinking... but decides against it, though he does give he a little space, using the time to take off his coat. The kiss makes him blush, the small touch making him redder then anything heavier would have. Cutesty stuff always does.]

Sure. Anything warm?

Mmhmm. [Minako counts off on her fingers:]

There's tea, hot chocolate, and... uh. More tea, I guess? Although I have other things I could use, like blackcurrant. That's pretty nice made with hot water.

Tea's fine, no need to get fancy. [He sits, sinking into the couch in his usually spayed knee fashion and watching her move around]

[Minako tilts her head, before turning around and digging out a couple of mugs from her cupboard. Setting them down on the counter with a light clink, she leans forwards, her elbows on the surface, so she has a better view of the living area.]

No tea then, but you still didn't tell me what you want.
