"You do that sort of thing often?" Sasuke asked dryly, wincing slightly as he shifted his weight somewhat more comfortable. Or, at least, relatively more comfortably. It wasn't until he looked up and caught a proper glimpse of the boy's face that he realized that he wasn't being smart with him or otherwise defensive. He just seemed... friendly. Definitely not typical behaviour of an adolescent guilty of lurking somewhere he shouldn't be.

For the most part, the shinobi was a rather sharp judge of character. It was something that came with the job. It baffled him to notice that the adolescent in front of him was either utilizing an elaborate ploy, or he really didn't have a sarcastic bone in his body - his expression and demeanour wasn't so much an open book as it was a beaming neon sign.

Sasuke needed a second to wrap his head around that. And catch his breath, while he was at that.

"...Right," he said finally, blinking, before continuing, "It's just you don't usually see teenagers walking around districts like this... I think..." Maybe this was normal? There was still a lot about the culture that he wasn't quite familiar with. Was it customary for people like his new acquaintance to wander around areas reserved for- no, not likely. Or at least he hoped not. It meant he had been clearly missing out. He also had to wonder if the youth even knew what sort of place he was currently in. Sasuke had far more of an inkling, given what had distracted him.

Still confused, Sora's face showed as much quite clearly. His brows knotted into a neat little frown and he twisted his mouth into a thinking expression. "What do you mean 'districts like this'?" What was wrong with this one, exactly? Apart from the weird smells and the staggering people at this time of the afternoon, that was. A little unusual perhaps but nothing too bad to worry about, was it?

He firmly believed that Riku wouldn't have let them move to a 'bad neighborhood', it just wouldn't have been safe. And Riku was primarily concerned with the safety of his two best friends. Sora was pretty sure, at any rate.

What was beginning to concern him though, was the other mans state of injury, and despite whatever it was he was worried about to do with this area, they really needed to deal with that other problem first. Sora would never have forgiven himself if he let this man suffer for longer than absolutely necessary. "We need to get you to the medical clinic." He tried again, with a little bit more authority.
