Description: On Christmas Eve, good little boys and girls go to church.
Death City may not have been a particularly religious place overall, but -- as Jules was constantly thankful for -- the church was at least there to accommodate worshipers' basic needs. Tonight was of course a special night for the Christian population, and so there was to be a simple Mass at midnight.
Not content to only make a point to remember the meaning of the holiday for a short while, Jules had arrived at the church very early and situated himself in a pew to enjoy the peace of the night and admire the lovely decorations. The night wasn't only exciting because of the holiday itself, but also because he'd invited several people who didn't normally come to Mass. He prayed that they'd enjoy themselves and decide to come back, or at the very least feel God's love for that one night.
But for all that he was enjoying the night, it felt somewhat empty. Attending mass without certain people seemed wrong; if asked, he might say he only missed Mother, but in reality the person who was most often by his side was Rosemariné. He certainly wasn't about to let that disrupt anything, though, because (he had to remind himself often that) God was more important than either of them.
[ooc: Please feel free to start your own threads that are open to everyone if you so desire! I'm sure Jules isn't the most interesting part of church.]
