Description: So that huge fight and falling out. That happened. Karkat blocking Yosuke from his comm? Yep. WELL NOW IT'S TIME TO FIX WHAT WE HAVE BROKEN.
Yosuke wasn't drunk so much as he was really drunk.
There was a fine distinction, one that Yosuke himself didn't fully understand, thanks to this being only his second time getting hammered ever. Drunk was one thing; there was giggliness, boldness, that weird whooshing feeling when he turned his head too quickly. Honestly, that was probably the best part of being drunk, in his opinion. That opinion rarely lasted long, though, thanks to the whole Really Drunk bit. The fogginess of beer seemed to part after he had one too many, and reality seemed that much colder and sharp. It was a clarity he could usually mask with denial, in more sober moments. Denial wasn't even an option now.
When Shin invited him to the party, Yosuke wasn't expecting to get all that hammered. Sure, 'drinking party' was one thing, and Yosuke was of the opinion that he had plenty to drink about, but for all he tried to paint an alternative picture...Yosuke was a pretty straight-laced guy. The idea of getting loaded didn't appeal too much, especially not after his first sour experience.
Funny, how all his good intentioned plans completely fell through.
It was nearly 4 o'clock when Yosuke dragged himself out of Shin's den of sin, condoms, CDs, and a massive headache on his person. He'd been drinking for nearly the entire night, barring the five or so hours he'd snuck in sleep. He'd been told by one of the other party goers that nothing cured a hangover like more alcohol. The pounding in his head made Yosuke just desperate enough to try it.
And now he was here. A place he'd been expressly ordered out of not too long ago. It made perfect sense in his head, as did the urgency with which he knocked on the door.
It all was obvious. Honest. Just good luck having him explain why.
